Challengers Uprising Continues Partnership with Riot Games to Kickoff Summer Proving Grounds Circuit

PORTLAND, OR — Challengers Uprising, the premier tournament organizer in the North American semi-professional scene, has officially announced its third League of Legends season in partnership with Riot Games for the Proving Grounds Circuit (PGC). Dubbed ‘Summer Sprint’, Challengers Uprising Season 3 begins on May 24th as the first of three Tier 2 tournaments. 

To qualify the 16 total participating teams, Challengers Uprising will host two open qualification tournaments on May 17th and May 18th. Both tournaments will have the top eight teams qualify for the Summer Sprint main event. The main event boasts a $5,000 prize pool with an accessible entry fee of $250. The Summer Sprint first place team automatically qualifies for the main Proving Grounds tournament.
