Challengers Uprising Mid-Season Update

A recap of the first Challengers Uprising regular season

The inaugural season of Challengers Uprising has seen amazing success so far with exceptional growth and amazing competition; experiencing brand outreach never-before-seen in the North American amateur scene.

Despite a relatively late tournament announcement for the Scouting Grounds Circuit, the Open Qualifiers drew over 20 participating teams and plenty of hype moments. Building off of the momentum for the first two broadcasts, our opening night broadcast for Week One was record breaking; achieving a new amateur scene viewership peak of 435 viewers and reaching a partnership with Nike

We didn’t stop there – Challengers Uprising broke the viewership record again in Week Two (with over 500 viewers), and announced a partnership with Esports Stadium Arlington (the largest dedicated esports facility in North America) on June 24th. However, the crowning achievement as of yet came with Week Four. On the last week of regular season play, we catapulted to a mindblowing peak of over 1,100 viewers!

With the regular season done and the playoff teams locked in, one team has shined especially bright: 100 Thieves Next. With a match record of 6-0-1, the team has only dropped one game across the whole regular season, in large part due to their star jungler Kenvi. Long story short – he’s good. Really, really good

But these competitive matches, stream numbers, and business deals don’t mean that we’ve forgotten to have fun… from celebrating player birthdays to crab raving at “NA fiestas” to making bets we’d later regret, we’ll continue striving towards producing the most entertaining broadcasts possible for you to enjoy.

With all that being said, we’d like to thank all our viewers, supporters, players, and competing teams. Without you, none of this would be possible. Challengers Uprising was created with one purpose in mind: to empower North American talent by giving players the spotlight they deserve.

We’re not done with our surprises yet, and we hope you continue to tune in when we return with playoff matches on the 15th at 7:00 PM EDT on
